Shape your reality

The human mind is the most powerful machine on the planet. Our three-pound nebulous ball of fun has over 100 billion neurons with 1 trillion synaptic connections. Wait, I’m confused. Either way, the shit is mad powerful. Ok, much better.

Our minds are amazing. Nothing on the planet comes close to the power it possesses. It’s like having the golden ticket for happiness.

Then why don’t we properly use them?

Our world is full of distraction. News, TV, cell phone, social media, job’s, life, the list goes on and on. The trick to taking back control of your mind is becoming mindful of your thoughts. The way we think shapes our reality.

There are two steps to thought creation. Very simple really.

Step 1: Start believing your beliefs

Step 2: Manage the emotions created by your beliefs.

That’s it. This is something you can start right now, this second.

Start believing

This can’t be half-assed belief. I’m talking full-blown immersion. Feel the energy that manifests in your soul when you truly believe something. Stop the “I will’ and replace with “I am”. Things like:

“I am healthy”

“I am confident”

“I am a Warrior”

“I am caring”

“I am going to get the job”

“I am going to be the best husband and father I could be to my wife and daughters”

The energy you create from positive belief will be palpable. Your soul will begin vibrating. The Universe will take notice.

The current circumstances in your life doesn’t matter. No matter where you are or what you’re going through, your beliefs about who you are must be powerfully positive. We are all amazing, we just sometimes forget and need reminding.

Manage your emotion

With strong belief comes strong emotion. If you have negative beliefs, well, you’ll have negative emotions. However, positive beliefs create positive emotions. Happiness, joy, love, compassion, excitement, curiosity, wonder. All these positive emotions will guide you down the path to true fulfillment. A path to living the life you’ve imagined.

Once you’ve navigated belief and emotion, your thoughts begin manifesting. This is the core of mindfulness. Recognizing the madness that is going on in our minds.

Stop letting your mind make decisions without consulting the soul. The soul is where truth resides. Our infinite energy and connection to all that is and all that will be. Our alignment to the Universe.

This could be difficult. Creating space between thoughts and reactions takes work. It won’t happen overnight. Truth be told, I struggled with it.

I let my ego and subconscious decide my actions and decisions for years. I had no control on the steering wheel of life. And let me tell you, I was all over the place.

Know I’m in control. And I know you can to. It starts today. Take back what is rightfully yours. Start small. Recognize what’s happening next time you feel yourself getting angry or annoyed. Breath, feel your feet on the ground, pay attention to the noises around you. Be totally in the moment. Physically feel the beliefs that lead to these emotions. From here, make the necessary adjustments. Overtime, it will become second nature. You’ll be proactive and not reactive.

The benefits for thought are scientifically proven. This is not smoke and mirrors bullshit. It’s real. Accept this idea and watch the positive events in your life unfold.
